If you want to experience true offshore sailing – day and night, without ports, just you, the crew and the sea – then this trip is for you.
The section between Tenerife and Madeira is approximately 500 nautical miles long and takes 4–6 days , depending on the weather.
This is a true sailor's journey , where every wave and gust of wind is part of the experience.

⚓ Journey and rhythm

We will set off from Amarilla Marina (Tenerife) and sail north across the Atlantic.
The route usually runs near the islands of La Palma and El Hierro , where deep ocean waves and constant trade winds begin.
The journey ends on the island of Madeira , in the port of Funchal – between a beautiful valley and mountains.

The return trip takes place in the opposite direction and is just as exciting in nature – sometimes the sea is calm and blue, other times it tests you and your team.
This is a journey where you will experience true cooperation, trust, and the power of nature. 🌊

🧭 What do you experience at sea?

• During the day you learn to navigate, set sails, and observe the wind and waves.

• At night you take the watch – the moonlight, the starry sky and the silence of the ocean are indescribable moments. 🌌

• The team works in shifts, usually 3-4 hour shifts .

• All participants can try steering, sail trimming and navigation, under supervision and in safety.

This trip is suitable for both experienced sailors who want to collect miles for their RYA logbook , and for those who just want to truly experience the open sea - away from cities and signals, just in the rhythm of the wind and water.

🌅 Arrival in Madeira

When the silhouette of Funchal finally appears on the horizon, the feeling is extraordinary.
Behind you are hundreds of miles, days and nights at sea, and the knowledge that you have truly achieved something.
A warm shower, fresh food and a little celebration on the shore await you in Madeira 🍻

If you wish, you can stay on Madeira for a holiday or join the return trip to Tenerife .
